No one is too old or frail to take off and fly silently through the beautiful Valaisan mountains. Due to the good upwinds in summer we take off after a few steps and immediately you feel safe in your harness. The comfortable sitting position, the silent gliding, the fresh air in your face and unrestricted visibility - we call it Vol Libre - the (almost) unlimited freedom! The prices depend on the flight time. The good thermal conditions in Valais help us to gain altitude and to extend the flights as much as we like. We recommend the 30-minute tandem flight (Premium), which will certainly not leave you shortchanged. Basically you can choose the flight area yourself. However, depending on wind and weather conditions, this may not always be possible. And of course we can do some wing-overs and spirals during each flight to get the adrenalin running a little bit.

Arrival and meeting point

You travel by train? No problem - we will gladly pick you up at the train station in Brig.

You are already in the region? We meet either at the valley or mountain station of the respective mountain railway. The starting points are located in the immediate vicinity of the top station of the cable cars Riederalp, Belalp or Rosswald.

Long trousers, a windbreaker and good shoes are all you need to keep you warm even on longer flights. Your pilot will bring a helmet and gloves. You will need some small change and your GA or Half-Fare travelcard for the train ride to the take-off site.

The landing site is located in Bitsch east of the mineral water factory. The stop of the Matterhorn-Gotthard railway is also in the immediate vicinity.

Flight areas

  • Belalp: A varied flight with views to the Aletsch Glacier and the 13 foot horns, as well as south to the Simplon awaits you. Along the Massa Gorge or the steep rocks of the Nessel we fly to Bitsch.
  • Riederalp: From Riederalp we fly with the upwind along the Riederfurka towards Brig, where the valley opens and the view reaches up to the Matterhorn. Most of the times, the good thermics allow some longer flight times and with a little luck we even see the Aletsch Glacier.
  • Rosswald: The Rosswald is known as the sun terrace above Brig. Already at the start the view reaches up to the Simplon as well as far down the Rhone valley. The flight ends on the historical Chavez meadow, from where Geo Chavez dared the first flight over the Alps in 1910!
